Used this mat under my dog crates so our hard wood floors would not get scratched. I cut the mat down to size I needed. This mat is extremely nice. I bought this pad to protect our new carpet from my wifes walking pad and her walking pad from the carpet. I chose this pad for its durability, size and its ability to be folded to adapt to different sized exercise equipment. It hasn't disappointed in any manner. Made of strong, thick, vinyl like material the pad comes folded and can take on full sized machines. For me, I folded the front two rows of squares and the back single row under which allowed our walking pad to fit with with just the right excess front, back and sides. I’ve already purchased two of these pads. It’s thick padding makes working out easy and less impact on my knees. It’s design is sturdy and the length is great.
