This is a good strong umbrella I bought for my grandson. He just turned 5. The patterns are nice. He can easily open and close it. Its not the usual cheap kids umbrella. I was surprised how nice it was. Also good in wind and easy to hold. Read more

Our toddler asked for an umbrella for her birthday and loves this. She opens it up inside and walks around saying it's raining. She uses it outside for actual rain, too, though we don't let her use it when it's very windy (more out of concern for her stability than the umbrella's). She doesn't always treat it very carefully, to be fair, but some of the tips have come out of place a few times. My 5 year old son has wanted his own umbrella for a long time. I found this one and decided order it a few months ago. My son has used this umbrellas numerous times and his friends at school are always trying to borrow it from him. Pros: *Cute design *Comfortable wooden handle *Lightweight *Easy for a child to put up Cons: *A little hard for a child to put the umbrella back down once it is opened. Purchased this for my son. My sons (5 & 9) find it easy to open & close. It doesn’t pinch his fingers when he is trying to open / close the umbrella. It seems sturdy & well made. It is not too heavy for them to carry. Just the right size for kids under 10. Read more

Got this for my 2 year old who loves being out in the rain, but hates being wet. Loved the dinosaur pattern. Seems a little brittle, so we'll see how long it lasts, but held up to the first half hour of overanxious little boy practicing opening and closing it "in case it started raining now", so I'm happy. :) Read more
