It's a nice all-in-one vac machine bundle to get started in carpet & upholstery cleaning out of the box. It can both spray cleaning solution and vacuum it back up with the flick of a button. The vacuum head has a built-in brush but it's poorly built in my opinion and won't last. I'd use a separate cleaning brush that's actually designed for carpet/upholstery cleaning. It comes with a 13ft electric cord which I think is plenty long for home use without needing an extension cord at the ready. Make sure to lift the vacuum head slightly, up to 15 degrees as directed to get the vacuum to work correctly. It takes a bit of getting used to but you'll get the hang of it intuitively over time. For stubborn & animal waste stains, I'd suggest that the user first spray and soak the affected area with an enzymatic cleaning solution prior to taking out the vacuum to do its magic. For all general purpose cleaning occasions though, a few passes over stains with just one cleaning solution should more than suffice as it was the case for me. All in all, a solid 4 out of 5 star item with great value price point at the time of writing. Read more

If you look at my photos, the first two are the "before" dirty arms on this old wingback chair. The second two are the "after." In the after photos, they're still damp, but obviously much cleaner. This old hand-me-down chair has never been cleaned. Check the rest of the photos and you can see it sucking out the dirt. Also check out that dirty tank water. It comes with detergent and a measuring cup. The detergent has a scent but not overbearing or harsh. One issue I have with the detergent is, in the owner's manual it says to refer to the detergent itself on how much to use. On the detergent, it refers you back to the manual. I took a guess and used one full measuring cup (provided). It's easy to set up and use. Simply add water and detergent in the clean water tank, attach the nozzle to the hose, lock it in place, plug it in and press the on button. It's a bit noisy, but not more than my vacuum cleaner. Another issue I had is with the sprayer. You squeeze the sprayer on the hose end and the spray is kind of forceful so it dripped down the chair onto the rug. I controlled it by pressing the nozzle into the fabric when I sprayed. At one point it stopped spraying. I started troubleshooting, turned off the machine, took the water tank off, put it back on, then got a phone call. When I came back, suddenly it was spraying again. I dont know if it stopped because the machine got too hot, or if removing and returning the tank did the trick, but it was fine after that. The suction on this thing is amazing. It pulled that dirty water straight out and the chair is drying quickly. When I was done, the machine was really easy to clean. The clear plastic lifts off the nozzle so you can rinse it out. The tank can be emptied and rinsed. It's also easy to store. The hose wraps around the base and on to a hose clip. There's also a clip at the top for the plug cord. Overall, it's a great little machine. I may give this chair a second washing since it had never been done even though it looks clean now. I was surprised by how much dirt was coming out of it. If you have kids or a dog in the house or maybe you're like me, a messy adult then you need this. I'm always spilling something like all the time. This little machine allows me to clean up after myself without having to drag out the big boy carpet cleaner. It's not heavy at all, has a nice size reservoir for water and soap. It sprays the water quite well and there's enough of it to wet/scrub the dirty spot. The suction is Awesome!! It leaves the carpet wet of course, but not sopping wet which caused the floor to dry in no time. Read more

This is the perfect vacuum for spot cleaning your car seats, or dealing with small spills on the couch etc. I'm not sure it would be efficient to clean a very large item but for the small stuff it's clutch. The instructions are simple and assembly is basically non-existent. You can have it running shortly after pulling it out the box.
