Great item great value serves the exact purpose it describes. Plug to HDMI inputs and the switch on the top allows you to toggle between the two perfect. It worked great for my application I had a streaming box and a computer I wanted to plug into a single HDMI input on my TV this worked great. I love that it doesn't require any power so there's no additional wires. It's also quite small so you could easily hide it. I did not notice any drop in video quality or anything so it serves its purpose very well and does a good job had a good price. If you need one of these this is definitely one you could get. Performs its function very well! No "noise" in the signal during switching or otherwise. Clear indication of which connection is selected. Very intuitive and easy to use. Just works, inexpensive, has a little led to tell you which port is selected (necessary). It is bidirectional as stated, meaning that you switch between two outputs or two inputs. I am using it to switch a monitor between my mac and my pc (two outputs). I did buy several of these. I have other hdmi switches but this are enough. Read more

The best 6-7 dollar tech purchase I made in a few years. This works perfectly with my setup of a monitor, desktop tower and Nintendo Switch. It is compact enough to be easily hidden, although the blue led reminds you that it is.
