I wanted to switch my display between my Desktop PC and a Laptop - this works great! Connecting is pretty self-explanatory (2 HDMI cables from devices in, one HDMI cable out to display). Vary happy with my purchase - no complaints! Read more

Was quickly able to configure the switching function to take signals from a desktop computer and a Roku Ultra into a single desktop LCD monitor. Both HDMI signals were clear and readily detectable by the monitor. However when the Roku signal was selected from input #1 (Push-button toggled down), if the HDMI input cables plugged into the #1 or #2 input were jiggled around in the least, the LCD monitor seemed to momentarily loose signal and flash a white screen. At first I thought there was a bad plug connection or faulty HDMI cable. After eliminating those possibilities, discovered that the push-button when in the down position was very sensitive to being disturbed and was slightly contacting along the hole in the switch case. In addition, the HDMI plugs are mounted on a circuit board that slides into tracks in the switch case. These tracks are loose on the circuit board such that the board moves around inside the case if any of the cables attached to the switch are moved. This wiggles the push-button while it touches its case hole just enough to momentarily break connection although not enough to pop the push-button back out. Otherwise, when the push-button is toggled out for the #2 select position, there is no loss/disturbance of the #2 signal being sent to the monitor while jiggling the cables attached to the switch. My fix, which seems to take care of the problem, was to remove the circuit board from the case and wrap some thin tape around the board's edges so that they engage into the case tracks without any slop. I suspect that variability in the dimensional tolerances of a given switch assembly's components may not combine to manifest this kind of problem on every switch. Or maybe not all of these push-button toggle switch exhibits as minimal a contact engagement in the down position as mine appears to. I've been switching sources for almost two weeks on a daily basis and thus far it continues work fine. Read more

Product works well. I should note, however, that when I initially plugged all the accessories in (a Sony Blue Ray player and a PS4 Pro T1 console) a message came on the screen that said "HDMI cable not working" or some such. I was nearly ready to return the unit, but after waiting a couple of minutes (two at best) both console and player became available and worked fine with the push of the two buttons. Glad for that. Returning is not really a hassle, but an annoyance when what you want is what you paid for. Read more

So I bought this so I can switch between my PS4 and PS5 depending on which console I want to use since my old LCD Panasonic has only one HDMI input. I have no flickering issues. It just works and is perfect my needs. Read more

No one can seem to make a good KVM switch. Even if they work well at first, they die after a short time. This one was only $10, so what the hay, let's take a chance. First thing I noticed is that it's unpowered. Um, that's a red flag. There are surprisingly few ports. Are they going to be able to do this with just two inputs for each computer and an HDMI output on the other side accompanied with two usb outputs? Anyway, hooked up two PC's, one 2560x1440 monitor, and mouse and keyboard in every possible way. Nothing worked. Best I could get was a display from one PC, with no working mouse or keyboard. Perhaps this might work on very basic PC's and monitors that are not demanding, but was a waste of money for me. Read more
