Customers find the furniture lifter effective, working well on hard wood and tile surfaces and being particularly useful for heavy items like marble-topped antique furniture.

Positively surprised

Michael S.β€”July 2, 2025βœ“ Verified purchase

we bought this because we were doing some house remodeling and we had to move several really heavy objects. I am positively surprised that it could even lift a 500+ pound gun safe with no issues at all this product made it really easy to move everything we need to move. I would highly recommend it if you are in the market. Read more

6 Stars. Amazing performance. Exceeds all expectations.

Ralph Stevensβ€”July 3, 2019βœ“ Verified purchase

It's rare that my expectations are exceeded for a low-cost product that makes seemingly impossible claims. I needed to move a 200 lb cabinet by myself across a somewhat gritty, concrete basement floor. To complicate things, it had to be steered around a corner. Mission accomplished. The included jack let me safely lift each corner. The sliders have extended tabs on them so you can place them precisely without getting your fingers beneath the leg you are lifting. I was able to push the cabinet myself with just fingertips. It glided with little effort. To go around the corner I had to manually turn each caster using the molded-in handle to the direction I wanted to go next. I moved the 200 lb cabinet, a heavy workbench and a 10' long steel shelf in under 20 minutes. Read more

Great product, but be careful

Bβ€”June 21, 2021βœ“ Verified purchase

This works very well at lifting/making a way to move heavy furniture. However, you have to be very careful when trying to put the item back to its original position (removing sliders). The mechanism that lifts isn't great at gradually placing furniture back down - it gives way very easily, making the furniture slam down. This can be a problem if there are fragile items inside or glass pieces on the furniture item. Other than that, this is very handy and easy to use. Read more

Middle Aged Ladies doing it for themselves

Elizabethβ€”June 24, 2020βœ“ Verified purchase

We are beyond lucky to have a roof deck that has 12 planters that havean average weight of at least 500lbs. At the start of the pandemic I had a brilliant idea to clean the IPE decking which hadn't been seriously cleaned since it was installed 8 years ago. Initially I thought I'd just do my best and clean around the heavy planters. Less than I'd like to do but better than nothing. Once upon a time I moved a huge produce cooler with three women, two dollies and a lever thing that lifted on a wheel thingamajig. It occurred to me that maybe if I could procure the same tools. we could move the planters and I could clean underneath. But, we are in the midst of a pandemic, live in NYC, don't own a car and have limited storage space so the thought of buying or even renting and then shlepping home the appropriate equipment seemed out of the question. An Internet consultation led to this item. The price wasn't nuts so I gave it a try. My wife's the brains and I'm the yawn so she was in charge of figuring it out and setting it up. Not only did she crack the not so difficult code she pretty much moved most of the planters by herself. Also we're both under 5'6" and are on the north side of 50 years old. Because of this tool we were able to thoroughly clean our deck and rearrange some of our planters to opposite sides of the deck Some of the planters moved at least 30 feet. Also, our deck is not an even surface. Some of the planks stick up higher so at times it slipped off the claws. But that was easily dealt with and nobody's toes got smashed. One con is some of the pads on the bear paws got worn down. In the reviews I consulted before I bought I read that some people broke the lever right away. My wife was very careful to make sure the lever was making full contact with the planter before she lifted. I tried it once and almost bent it because it was sticking a wee bit out. Like I said, she's the brains. A truly delightful product. It never cracked and neither did we. Seriously, we were kind to each other throughout due in part to the low stress level in using this product. It was a pure delight to move these massive objects by ourselves. In these uncertain and somewhat hopeful times this product was a reminder that nothing is impossible if you have the right tools. Read more

Do You Really Want To Endanger Your Body Parts When This Thing Breaks???

Anonβ€”October 7, 2025βœ“ Verified purchase

I bought the lifter earlier this summer when, on the receiving end of a long-distance relocation, I knew I was going to need something to help with the lifting and shifting. This, straight out of the box, was so flimsy that everyone involved in the placement of VERY heavy antique furniture decided not to even attempt to use it. No one wanted to risk damaging important things like bones when it clearly seemed destined to fail while supporting a plus-150 pound oak cabinet. There's a better one, the X-Protector Furniture Lifter Tool, which I purchased in the same order as this one (because I wanted to compare the two). The one I kept I've used many times over the past couple of months and it's worked - safely - like a champ. Nope, it doesn't include sliders --- but those are easily purchased on this site.
