Before this I used some useless brand of activated charcoal powder, and when I found this at Target I was thrilled. But they didn't have the one with fluoride in it at the time so after ordering it online and using it for several weeks I was actually pretty impressed by how clean and minty fresh my teeth and mouth were. The taste is superb, just try it. As for its whitening capabilities, I don't even use this charcoal paste consistently (because I still have some Crest toothpaste left oops lol) and I actually DO see how lighter in color my teeth are... Think of that pale yellow sticky note color-- that's what color my teeth originally were (thank you coffee) and now I dare say it's gotten to a pale yellow-WHITE. I actually LIKE flashing my teeth a little more when smiling... Who am I now? Read more
I love this stuff; it tastes quite good and I can see a visible whitening of my teeth from use. It is a bit disconcerting that it is black so when you spit after you're done cleaning your teeth you have to be careful not to make a mess. :-) Read more
I bought this product in an attempt to see if using charcoal to whiten teeth works, but I didn't want to go without flouride because there are some benefits associated with it in toothpaste. I've been using for about 2 weeks now and I've seen daily improvements to the whiteness of my teeth. I'm a regular coffee drinker and this toothpaste has removed almost all surface stains. I would recommend that you get a softer toothbrush before use of this product because it can feel a bit abrasive if using a firm brush. But this has make brushing my teeth one of my favorite parts of the day. It tastes great and isn't overbearing at all. I would gladly buy again! Read more
I bought this to replace a charcoal powder that I had been using for months with no observed whitening effects whatsoever. With this Hello toothpaste, I noticed whiter teeth almost immediately, plus it is WAY less messy than the other brands, and it freshens breath better! Win, win, win! Other customers have noted that it is a bit thin and runny, and that is where I docked it a star (I would probably only take off like 1/4 of a star if I could). It is, in fact, pretty liquidy, and I don’t feel that enough of the paste stays on the brush to effectively brush my tongue at the end. To solve this little first-world dilemma, I just add a little more paste to the toothbrush after brushing my teeth and use it on my tongue and the roof and sides of my mouth. It takes 3 extra seconds to re-up, and it keeps my whole mouth feeling fresh all day, unlike any other toothpaste I’ve ever used. So, I don’t mind the doubling up process, but I know it would probably be perceived as a hassle to some. Read more
I got the charcoal fluoride whitening toothpaste. I like that it has the fluoride, as my teeth really need it thanks to health issues, and it's an easier way to get charcoal whitening without the messy powders. It's a lot less messy! And it doesn't leave as much charcoal residue that has to be brushed off afterwards as the powders did. Read more
Tastes nice and fresh without being too minty. I haven’t really noticed any extra whitening power, but it seems to clean my teeth well. Beware though if you are new to charcoal toothpaste, it makes your mouth an unsightly gray while brushing and stains your toothbrush. Read more
This is my new favorite tooth paste. It has a great flavor and makes your mouth taste and smell very fresh. Its great for whitening, I have noticed a difference in the couple weeks that I have used this, it works better than my other whitening tooth pastes from Crest and Colgate. It also helps with sensitive teeth. This is my go to from now on. I highly suggest this tooth paste to anyone who is looking for cavity prevention, whitening, fresh smell/flavor, and more. This really does do everything you could need. I will be buying this brand from here on out. Read more
I get white teeth with this and the only reason I use charcoal is it does not bleach like those horrible ones that don’t do good with enamel. Charcoal can be the same way if you brush way too hard. It’s why it’s good this has fluoride in it to build back any enamel that damaged. Only charcoal really cleans. And I use the bamboo charcoal brushes it’s safe on the environment. I know I am trying.
