After doing some research on the company that makes these, I was impressed that they are made right here in the good old USA and not China. I wanted to support companies who employ our own people and don't mind spending a bit more in order to do that. The pan does a great job for us on one particular dish that we make often. It appears to heat evenly at medium heat and cleanup after that recipe is a breeze. We used it for another meal and things stuck to it a bit more. I got online to see how the manufacturer recommends cleaning it and followed their directions. It came out beautifully. I am glad to have invested in this and look forward to a long "relationship" with a quality piece of cooking equipment. Read more

I love everything made by Heritage Steel. I have so many pieces from them, and I use them frequently. This pot is a great size, not too wide, but it still holds so much! Great for soups, stews, pasta dishes...and it is gorgeous stainless steel! It cleans up nice...I always let it soak a bit, and then cleans up with ease. If there's any discoloration left over from my hard water, I wipe with a little white vinegar, and it's beautiful again! Read more

I love my All Clad that I have used for the last 20 years, the D3 original series is a great pan and will last the rest of my lifetime. I have needed a few more pans to round my collection off and decided to try the Eater series because every bit of the pan is Made in the USA unlike All clad that sources handles, lids, accessories, etc. to China. This pan is every bit as good as All clad and a bit more since it is a lot cheaper than the comparable D5 series. I got a Made In saucepan as well and like that too but they are made in Italy. I like supporting family businesses here in the USA and will definitely purchase from Heritage again. Oh and it cooks wonderfully! If you have used nonstick all your life there is a learning curve and I suggest YouTubing for tips. Read more

Love this pot… who would have known a pot can change how we cook. VERY solid, perfect size for us, could have gone one size larger but it would have been too large for our electric burner. Would buy again! Read more

Purchased in October 2025, it's a learning curve using stainless steel, and we continue to use varying techniques. Strictly using it for healthier reasons, getting away from Teflon. It does scratch deep on the bottom when using it on NG stove grates. The price and scratches is the reason for 3 stars and won't be purchasing anymore. Read more

I love this pan! When we switched over from 20 year old and very worn out non-stick cookware, I started our collection with this saute pan. It still gets used more than all the other fine stainless pieces we have now as it does just about everything we need (other than eggs, I use carbon steel for eggs). Read more
