This mascara has earned my full respect. I have very sensitive eyes and almost everything causes itching or irritation, but this formula is very gentle and didn't bother me at all. Performance: My eyelashes are naturally very straight, so my biggest challenge is finding a mascara that doesn't weigh them down after curling them. This one is amazing—it holds the curl perfectly all day. The curved brush design definitely helps with the application and lift, and best of all, it doesn't leave any clumps. Removal (The only downside): The only thing I didn't love is how difficult it is to remove. It is extremely waterproof. I tried oil, gel, and cream cleansers, but it wouldn't come off completely, and I hate going to sleep with makeup residue. I read that baby oil might work, so I will have to try that next. If you need a mascara that keeps your lashes curled and won't smudge or budge no matter what, this is it! Just be prepared to use a very strong makeup remover. Read more
No matter what I do or try, my lashes will never stay curled. I've figured out they will sometimes hold the curl if I use waterproof mascara after curling in a specific way. My tried and true mascara changed its formula and now I'm back looking for a new one. I heard about this mascara on tiktok and thought I'd give it a shot. Definitely worth it! I've never actually had a mascara help curl my lashes. I thought that was just marketing and not actually a real thing when it came to various mascaras. This product curled, lengthened, and held the entire day AND night (during a wedding) and no flakes. I'm definitely a loyal customer now. I don't think this is a product that can be used everyday though. It's really difficult to remove, I had luck with make removal balm or face oil. However, it takes patience and you have to be really gentle or you'll pull out your lashes. This stuff isn't going anywhere. I've slept in it and woke with perfect lashes. I only wear it for events or special nights out. There isn't a ton of product in the tube, it's pretty small. The wand is just the old type that can occasional make my lashes clump but I haven't had much of a problem with that. I've recommended this to anyone who brings up my lashes. I love it. Read more
I have tried every expensive mascara I could and nothing was working. I needed something that did not smear. THIS is that the product. 90 degree, hot, humid temperatures and it stays put. It comes off easily with a cream makeup remover from the drugstore. It's inexpensive enough that I can buy a few and I'm not worried about it running out because they made it affordable. This mascara works really well, especially if you have straight lashes that need serious hold. It’s quite thick, but it delivers great volume and length, and it keeps lashes lifted all day without drooping. The downside is removal—it takes a while to come off, and you definitely need to be careful. Go slow and use a good remover so you don’t tug or risk breaking lashes. The media could not be loaded. I have been using this for years and still haven’t found a better mascara! Overall, this mascara makes your lashes look longer and thicker and separates lashes evenly. I want to note that the formula and fibers may need some getting used to and a new tube may be a little on the wet side at first with lots of product on the wand. I usually swipe some product off first and then comb through my lashes first and use the back of the wand to separate each lash. The mascara wand deposits product evenly and fibers stick on easily. The formula dries quickly, so it takes only a minute to have full lashes with multiple coats. I would mention is the mascara is a bit difficult to take off if you’re not used to waterproof mascara — I recommend soaking eyes and lashes with waterproof eye make-up remover for at least a minute then follow up with a facial oil and finish off with a gentle facial cleanser. This process helps remove all the fibers and product without taking out any lashes or needing to rub the eyes. General information: the mascara does an incredible job adding length to your lashes with fibers. The formula is buildable so you can add more volume as needed with additional coats. I would say this mascara is the best waterproof and lengthening mascara I have ever used and I always go back to this product! Also, it does not smudge or flake throughout the day. If product starts to flake, smudge or not work as well as before, that means it is drying up or old and needs to be replaced, about 3-6 months. Lastly, I would suggest that you curl your lashes first beforehand for extra lift and make sure you like how it looks, because once you add on the mascara your lashes will not be moving anywhere! I bought this product for the first time in Japan, this is my holy grail mascara because it gives such incredible length and volume. Also VERY waterproof! To the point where it can be hard to remove (use an oil based remover). Read more
