This is such a great idea to help protect your PlayStation Portal 5. The case is extremely well-made of a hard quality EVA material with the added benefit of being waterproof! The carrying handle is strong and durable. The PS5 snuggly secures in place inside surrounded by a soft velvet material keeping it safe no matter how rough the kids are on it in transfer or travel. It has a mesh pocket making room for all accessories, including cables and chargers. My son likes to use it to keep track and store his other small games as well. This case has been through my son’s rigorous handling for months now and it’s offered peace of mind for both kid and mom. Great buy! Five stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Read more
I really liked this case. It's decent quality, has a nice deep protective pocket that the portal sits in, and has a carrying strap. I do think its just slightly larger than it needs to be, slightly larger in every dimension to other cases I've used. The plastic shell is also really hard to take apart and I felt like I was going to break the little plastic tabs holding it together. Luckily I didn't, and it covers the portal really nicely with openings for each of the ports however I don't think it'd work with most charging docks and the start, select, and PS buttons are a little hard to press with it on. This is also just personal preference, but I don't love the top design with the buttons etc. I'd rather just something flat/plain. The inside of the case is super soft and protective and the zippers seem like good quality as well. I love the white thumbstick grips too, they look great on the portal. It also comes with a tempered glass screen protector however I cannot comment on that as I already had one on my portal. Overall, a good case for the price with added value. If you can get past the design on the front and the fact that its a bit on the bulky side, you've got a solid choice here. Read more
The HEYLACOOLX Hard Carrying Case Compatible with PlayStation Portal is a great case. I needed something to keep it safe when I'm not playing with it and carrying it around. Seems pretty durable and you can put cords and portable chargers in the case too to keep you playing for a long time. Fabric is soft and good quality, There is a strap to keep the PS portal from moving around too much so it stays safe. The case is hard enough to take some bumps and still protect the ps portal from damage. I wouldn't go throwing it around because that would be overboard, but for as cheap as the case is it's a really good quality. Read more
I love my Playstation portal but it's not exactly the easiest piece of technology for traveling because it's bulky and seems fairly fragile. This case was exactly what I was looking for to allow me to protect my Portal and while traveling. It's nice and padded and fits perfectly. The screen protector flap is very soft and Velcros in place to lock the Portal in place. The storage netting in the top provides ample space for chargers, ear buds, and anything else you might require. It's a little detail but I really like the strap that goes under the Portal that allows you to lift it up making it easier to get out of the case. I'm very happy with this case. Read more
Initial impressions of this are positive. The case looks nice. It's very playstation-styled. Although, the d-pad being on both sides is an odd choice, but I like it. For those wanting to take this on a boat and hoping that it will not fill up with water if it goes overboard will be disappointed. The zipper is not a waterproof zipper. The marketing is off there. The feel of the inner cloth is very nice. It will keep the screen safe from scratches. The inside is also contoured to the device. The sides are not stiff, they do flex. Depending on the price, this may be a good choice. This should be in the mid to lower price ranges for Portal cases. Read more
This accessory bundle for the PS Portal has some genuinely useful pieces, but I think the listing could be more transparent about what’s actually included—and how the “12-in-1” count is broken down. The carrying case is the highlight: lightweight, solid, and fits the PS Portal snugly. It gives a real sense of protection without adding bulk, and it’s my favorite part of the set. The tempered glass screen protector (While the listing says it includes two, I only received one) fits the screen perfectly and applies smoothly with minimal effort—especially thanks to the included cleaning kit, which helped remove dust before application. It’s a huge upgrade from the plastic one I had on before. The clear shell, on the other hand, didn’t work as well. It felt flimsy, didn’t fit my Portal very securely, and actually made it less comfortable to hold. I ended up removing it. Finally, while it’s labeled a “12-in-1” set, that number is a stretch. It includes 2 sets of joystick caps (counted as 4 items), 2 screen protectors (counted as 2), the clear shell (counted as 3 pieces), 2 cleaning kits, and the case—for a total of 12. But realistically, it feels more like 4–5 real accessories. And for me, the joystick caps weren’t something I personally found useful, so most of the value came from the case and the glass protector. The travel bag itself is nice, and fits very snuggly to the playstation portal. However, the plastic clear shell for the portal itself is absolute garbage. Do not consider that part of this purchase if you're just wanting the travel case. The thum caps work fine, and the screen protector is nice and a good fit. But again, the plastic shell is awful. Its very thin and brittle plastic and its almost impossible to get off once installed. Read more
