Price at time of review: $12.59 Quality: 5/5 Value: 5/5 I was pleasantly surprised to see this controller charger was not just about looks. It offers functionality as well. The visible LED lights clearly show the charging progress, the controllers fit onto the charger perfectly (no sliding or randomly falling off), and the charger fits nicely next to our gaming systems. So far we've noticed charging speeds are standard as if you plugged the controller into a wall charger. Overall, this is a great controller charger that looks awesome on our gaming shelf. Read more

I am sadly disappointed by how basic and lacking-in-features this charging stand is. For the price, you could easily buy a much better option. The stand is made to perfectly cradle the PS% controller, and unlike the PS4 chargers that need to be pressed in with some force, this charger allows you to gently set your controller on top and it begins charging. The front light turns green when there is power going to it. Unfortunately, that's literally all it does. While better chargers only turn the light on for whichever controller is actually slotted into it (so if only one controller is docked, only one controller light comes on), this one just lights up both controller icons no matter what. Further, it only indicates that the power is traveling from the PS5 to the stand itself; there is no way to verify that the power is actually making it to the controller. When you remove all controllers from the stand, as long as it's still powered on, the light stays on. It's all but useless. It also can't tell you when your controller is charging/has finished charging. Most chargers will show red for charging, and green for charged. This one just keeps you blind. While I do like the ability to charge my PS5 controller safely, without damaging any ports by plugging and unplugging cords, I'm very unhappy with this charger in every other way. I think I will only use it until I get another one. The fact that this is so cheaply made, makes me worry about connecting it to my PS5 too much. It's not well-designed, so I'm not sure I trust the internals that make it work, either. I worked for 3 years selling consoles and video games. Almost any other charger that you buy will be significantly better than this one, for the same price. I cannot recommend this product at all. Read more
