The machine makes good coffee. This is not my first espresso machine so I am diligent about cleaning it regularly. I had purchased the extended warranty as well. After less than 4 months the milk frother failed. I submitted a claim for the warranty and they sent me back to the manufacture, geekpure, because the unit was less than 4 months old (it was a nuisance, for sure). The manufacturer sent me complex videos to disassemble the unit to check an internal solenoid valve. The level of disassembly was completely unreasonable for the consumer! That was all they would offer. I saw another review mention the same thing. I had to return the unit. Poor quality. Not good service. You will regret your purchase. Read more

Update a year later...I was a out to reach the vendor via their website, not through Amazon. They provided instructions on how to fix the fuse and gave me a credit for the amount of the fuse and tools. I replaced the fuse myself and it's still working great. Original post: The machine worked beautifully. I loved it. But then it stopped loading past the first screen when we turned it on one morning. The coffee is water, there is tons of coffee inside maker all over the place, it looks like it doesn't grind the coffee all the way to brew, but the coffee is all over inside the maker. Prior to this machine, we owned a JURA J9 for several years. What I prefer with the HiPresso is the ease of cleaning everything. Lots of variety nicely displayed on the touch screen. Unfortunately, we are having issues with our milk frother. We clean the machine regularly, but the frother is lame. it has difficulties sucking the milk in and once this happens, it just goes through. We have also tried the replacement nozzles, but it almost seems that there is an air leak somewhere, which makes it hard for the milk to be processed. There is no useful information how to fix this. UPDATE!!!! Was contacted by the seller with a bunch of videos and instructions how to fix the problem. Including taking the machine apart, which we did not do, since that would probably cancel the warranty. We now ran into a new problem. the machine is stuck in the startup cycle. We've owned this machine now for 6 months. I just wrote the seller that I would like to have a replacement. I don't want anymore videos to repair the machine. So far, not happy! Read more
