Would have loved to give these 5 stars. But unfortunately the tab tore off immediately after putting on the boots. The tab is definitely not strong enough to assist with putting on the boots. These are the perfect fashionable/functional rainboots that aren't ugly! I am super picky about rain boots, I hate ones that are too floppy or too thin. The thick sole on these will be great for a elevation and insulation off a wet or frozen ground. The elastic "chelsea" part of the boot is above the ankle bone so they will keep feet dry above the ankle. The pull tab helps pull them on, and the inside is a nice soft material that doesn't scratch or make you sweat. I am so glad I found these. Cute and seem like they would keep your feet warm, but I have to send these back. The left shoe is little bigger than the right. The left was tighter on my foot, not uncomfortable but just tighter. Its like when you go in the store and try on shoes and can tell that a bunch of other people have tried on the shoes because they're stretched out a little more on one foot than the other. The biggest standout to me for these Chelsea boots is that they are pleasantly cushioned and springy on the insole, which makes them really comfortable. I might even go so far as to say that they are more comfortable than my Hunter boots. They have a little more insulation provided by a thin lining that doesn’t add bulk. I am typically between a size 8.5 and 9, and the size 9 seemed to be the perfect fit to allow easy on and off. I definitely feel like I could fit a nice thick sock in there easily, too. The soles have great traction for security on wet or icy surfaces, so I will likely find myself wearing these most often during hectic winter daycare drop offs. The quality overall seems great, with the one exception of the loop on the back of the boot. It is imperative to getting this boot on properly to be able to leverage that loop, but I heard and felt a few loud pops while first trying on. There appears to be some major fraying to this loop, so I am actually not sure about the longevity for this feature. However, I think the boot is still an excellent value, even if the back loop is wonky. Read more
