The thickness of the shoe adds to their sturdiness, making them incredibly warm and ideal for snowy conditions and walking on ice. By far the best waterproof boots I've owned. These are sort of odd, funky winter boots, but I think I like them. I enjoy the chunky, clompy look and the shiny fabric, in a nostalgic way that makes me think of 80s moon boots. They're quite lightweight and comfortable, and roomy enough for heavy winter socks. I would maybe add an insole if I planned to wear them for a lot of walking. Because I live in a place with very wet, chilly winters with only occasional snow (we're more likely to get ice than snow), I haven't been able to try the boots in snow yet. The sole provides fine traction on wet pavements, but it's unclear to me whether they will be adequate for slippery, icy conditions. As for the "waterproof" claim, I would categorize these instead as "water resistant" -- while the lower part of the boot has a leather-like material that stands up fine to puddles, deeper puddles or more prolonged exposure can start to soak through. But these are not sold as rain boots, and it's likely they'll be fine in snow, provided it's fairly dry snow. Usually a size 7 but my gut was telling me to get an 8 and it was a PERFECT FIT! They are soooo comfortable and thick inside so your foot is warm! There is no zipper which is great your foot slides right in. You won’t slide in the snow either because they have great grip! Read more

super cute seem durable, comfortable, extremely waterproof, they even have a little cord around the ankle to prevent snow from getting in. The bottom of the shoes are super great and non-slip proof. Read more
