We purchased this product just over 12 months ago. Yesterday morning the product forced us to perform an update after which the tv stopped functioning properly. The tv has been cycling since the update. Funny how the warranty just ended. The very part needed, the main board, to fix the tv is unavailable. Not shocked, however, after speaking to a couple of tv repair specialist. Each of whom was not shocked but more frustrated with this very common issue. The update caused this issue and Hisense has told us it is our problem. I spent just under $1200.00 on this tv. We removed it from the box, hung it on the wall, and used a few of the big name apps on it. We spent good money for a bad product. YOU SHOULD NOT BUY A HISENSE TV. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON A CHEAPLY MANUFACTURED PRODUCT. Read more

This 85” Hisense 85A7H TV is awesome. With android built right in its like having a giant tablet for games and whatever other apps you want to download from the google play store. We already hooked up a couple controllers and the kids love playing games on it. Football and movies look amazing on this screen. Highly recommend. I took off one star because the pink tape they put around the entire edge of the screen from the factory to protect during shipping left a thin line of white residue around the entire screen that I had to carefully wipe off with a screen cleaning cloth. It wiped right off however for the added inconvenience I am giving it 4 stars but the tv experience other than that is 5 stars. The handles on the back also made it easier to get out of the box and hang on the wall. You will also want to note the mounting holes on the back of the tv are at the very bottom instead of in the middle so for me I used my existing mount and now the tv is about 7 inches higher than what I wanted but not a huge deal. * update 12/10/2022 I could not get Alexa controls to stick. I would link this tv up to Alexa to change inputs and turn the tv on and off which was cool but then it would stop responding until I restart the tv. However I was able to get it to connect to apple home kit and I’m able to turn on and off the tv and change inputs from my Apple Watch which is pretty cool. It works the majority of the time very well without having to restart. We love Alexa so hopefully this gets fixed with an update in the near future. Read more
