Immediately did a good job of cooling 350 square foot room. Initially confusing on how to set up with WiFi. Turned out the included batteries were dead -- worked fine after I figured that out. Seems a bit more noisy than the Haier unit I had used in the past. Overall seems like a good unit. Read more
Couldn’t install a normal window air comditioner. Was able to onstall this same unit last year which continues to work well. Bought this second unit to cool more of the house. Very pleased with them. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I have an older version of this unit and it is doing the job well into 3rd summer. I need it in alternative to window units that kept building mold from rainy days and humidity. I bought this at same time as LG unit and prefer the cooling power on this one. I use the dry option as often as the cool option and both make highly humid Manhattan days/nights bearable. Not without some annoyances on connections. You may have to use wood or other type of shim below slider for window to raise it up (as I did) it you have a lip that is higher than inner window ledge. The hose connector to unit and to the window slider are often problematic - you get one to connect and it comes apart as you are trying to connect other end. I recommend you secure the window section first as you can adjust the unit connection attachment a bit. I did use some painters tape to keep the unit attachment in the slot as it tends to disconnect when you move the unit. If you never need to move it ( I am in tiny apartment and occasionally do) it probably will not be an issue. Noise is average in my opinion. It is better than my old window unit and about same as LG portable one. I added a video so you can listen. I do not use the remote or sleep mode so I cannot advise on that. Read more
