Very good documentary on Hitler....worth watching. Read more
Not very interesting. Same information as other documentaries. Absolutely not worth spending money to rent. Complete waste of time and money. Read more
Bob Carruthers did a good job taking one through Hitler's journey in an upfront personal way by visiting the actual sites of major events associated with Hitler. He helped me to envision the places like they would be, if I visited them for myself. I would have liked to seen more details of the locations, and especially the Eagles' Nest. Read more
Takes viewers on a tour of different sites of significance in the life of Adolf Hitler. Hits the major points and adds in details. Includes an interview segment with Hitler's sister. She's completely unaware that her description of him is pure Nazi propaganda-- strong-willed leader even as a child. Documentarist likewise seems unaware that a catalog of existing sites might be used as a tour itinerary for neo-Nazis. Was that his objective? If he knew that showing sites of import could draw attention both good and bad, then he likely would have omitted the graves of Hitler's parents. Instead, he shows them and their location and marvels that they're not vandalized. He seems unaware that his attention to the graves could increase the likelihood that they would be destroyed. On the flip side, if he intended a blatantly anti-Nazi production then he might have used Nazi Party music that remains outlawed in Germany. Instead, he immerses the narrative in Wagner, which keeps his video legal to own everywhere. Read more
Put yourself in his shoes. Walks through influences of the man. Interesting perspective. Read more
Fair to middling documentary. This looked like a low budget effort. The narrator was very passionate, but he was somewhat annoying in his delivery, which seemed more emotional than factual. I didn't learn a lot new from this documentary, but I suppose it is suitable for someone unfamiliar with Hitler's history. Read more
This was a great documentary! Worth a watch. Read more
Nothing but an opinion piece with very little fact. Misses the mark on so many levels. How about doing your homework before creating this kind of junk? Read more
