Five stars for comfort, style, etc. great shoe, like the large number of great reviews have said. Instantly comfortable, walkable, cute design. HOWEVER. Huge quality control issue. I bought the brown color, and the shoe arrived extremely scratched up. Clearly worn and poorly handled. However, since I loved the shoe itself, i decided to order a second pair to see if I’d get a better one, and I did. As you can see in my photos, there’s a night and day difference in the condition of the first and second pair, and even the color is different. The second pair is a shade darker and more even in color. Clearly an actually new pair. The pictures don’t even fully do a justice to the difference—there’s a bunch more scratches on the sides and back, I just didn’t want to upload a ton pictures. So I will say overall, if you’re interested in this shoe, do buy it but be aware that you may have some quality inconsistency—I think some other reviews have mentioned the same thing. Another thing—from having researched these shoes, I will say I believe the scratching issue is by far more prone to happen with the brown color because it’s a very different type of leather than the other options. These boots are a pleasant surprise when it comes to comfort ,especially for a heeled boot that actually looks stylish!: - Cushioned platform feel: The platform design effectively reduces the pitch of the heel, making them feel less steep and more comfortable than expected. - Flexible Chelsea-style fit: The stretchy sides are easy to slip on and hug the foot nicely. - Removable soles are a plus: Great that you have the option to swap in insoles that work best for you. Ultimately I had to return them because the fit was too tight with my custom insoles; these might work better with thinner replacement insoles. I’m so disappointed in these Sorel boots!! I’ve bought a new pair of Sorel boots for the last several years and they have all been great. I still wear them. I ordered a 7.5 in these they were too big so I returned for a 7. These are the first pair of Sorel’s that bothered my feet. They are stiff, my feet are cold and the shaft is too high on my ankle/ leg. Every pair I’ve bought in the past are comfortable the first time I wear them. I’ve worn these boots 10 times and they don’t feel broke in at all. Unfortunately I missed the return window. Read more

My boots came today and they are much better looking in actual than on photos! I love them. The fit is just perfect and leaves my toes w room but does not make ky feet slide forward. It has just enough grip to protect my feet. And surprisingly, they are very comfortable. I cannot wait to use them at Sapporo this winter. Read more

Well made boots, impervious to dirt, doesn't scuff, wore them all winter and sole shows hardly any wear. They are a bit loose, accomodate socks and broke in regarding my bunions quickly. Sorel makes great shoes! Read more
