It is very comfortable, so comfortable that the cat George keeps stealing it (see picture). Fabric covering in bottom is not waterproof. My dog had an accident and it marked the cushion on the bottom through the fabric. The bed itself looks nice, however, the zipper is in the interior seam, so in order to unzip it to remove the 4 individual pillow at the top, you have to flip it inside out which is very messy when your dog has an accident.
