These vent deflectors have been surprisingly effective! I use one on a floor vent by my kitchen window to redirect air away from the glass (where condensation and humidity build up), and the other on a high wall vent in my bathroom to push the air downward instead of toward the ceiling. Both made an immediate difference in improving airflow and helping with moisture control — something I’ve struggled with due to uneven heat and humidity that can lead to mold and mildew. The magnetic hold is fairly strong and stays put even when the air is running full blast. The plastic is thick, clear, and durable, and the adjustable length makes it easy to fit different vents. They work great for houses with small vents to change the direction of air flow weather it’s for heat or central air . We have them in all but one room in our house , only complaint is the magnets could be a little stronger for holding them on the vent covers. Read more

I live in an older home and my vents are on the walls near the ceiling. I always wondered how much heat I was wasting by having it stay in the top of the room all the time. I ordered a pair of these vents and my daughter put them up for me when they arrived. It took her less than a minute. The next day I noticed that the rooms were warmer - I could feel the heat coming from the furnace much better. So I went and turned the thermostat down a couple degrees! That means these things will actually pay for themselves. Other reviews have complained that they are flimsy or the magnets aren't good enough. For me, that is not true. They are air deflectors, people! I would call them lightweight, not flimsy. And if you are trying to make them fit something other than a metal register of the appropriate size, then you are a goofball. Read the description to be aware of what you are getting. These deflectors are clear so they are unobtrusive on the wall. Notice my different color walls in the photos. They deflect the air down into the room, so what's not to like? Nice product, reasonable price, good vendor, fast shipping - I say 5 stars! Remember... this is a small business trying to make a living. That's the kind of business we all want to support. I'm always amused when I read a cooking recipe review and they say... "I changed 3 ingredients and cooked it at a different temperature and it didn't work. They should have done better!" What the??? So don't be sticking these air deflectors on a non-metal surface or pulling them apart because your register is bigger than they will go. Those things mean you need a different product! The vendor can't come back and say such a thing but I can! Use them how they are meant to be used and you will be happy. Otherwise, get in line for a Darwin Award because you are definitely wading in the shallow end of the gene pool. Disclaimer - I mean no offense to anyone in particular. These are great and we purchased a few for our house. My only complaint is that the magnetic strength is not amazing and it doesn't stay in place all the time, which may be a safety issue for tripping or for little children. The product also does not stay together well and can be frustrating to change the size of the device to fit your vent. Likely wouldn't purchase again. Read more
Needed to direct air from the floor vent away from the sliding glass door and vertical blinds. These covers are easy to adjust (slide) and are magnetic (position them virtually anywhere). My floor vent is old and isn’t flush with the floor. I positioned the cover around the outside of the vent to stop air that escapes and blows the blinds. For the price, I can’t complain at all.
