This is an adorable, high-quality sunhat for toddlers. My baby looks precious wearing this, and I'm glad it protects her so well from the sun. The brim is wide, the hat is adjustable, and the flap in the back is long and provides full coverage. The color is a beautiful bright white and the hat is soft and comfortable for my baby. I've washed it in the washing machine a few times and it's held up great. The chin strap is removable, but I definitely recommend keeping it on so the hat stays securely on your baby's head. I haven't experienced any issues at all with my baby getting sun exposure or sunburn while wearing this hat. Read more

This wide-brimmed bucket hat is ideal if you want to protect your children from the sun, it protects the front, side and back. It also protect the neck and the ears with the neck flap, note this flap is not removable and made of cool-feeling material. It also has a strap to give some peace of mind when are in strong winds and worried about losing the hat. It's made of polyester and nylon, making it very lightweight and quick-drying. It also has breathable mesh to keep the head cool on the hottest Florida summer days. The neck flap can be rolled up and stored when not needed but it is not removable, it comes in two sizes but note that can be adjusted to fit your child's head over time. My is 4yr old and wears the 4-8 size with the adjusting cord pulled all the way. It's very functional, as it's foldable, allowing you to easily roll it up so you can take it anywhere (beach, mountains, traveling in your carry-on). It has UPF 50+ sun protection, blocking UVA and UVB rays. In terms of quality, I can say that about 4 years ago, my wife bought a similar one for my son from the same brand and it was exceptional. Price seem quite fair. The hat itself feels to have a good thickness and sturdiness while remaining relatively light weight and in general fits our 2y.o. and 4y.o. very well, when it stays on top of their head. But the neck/chin strap fasteners... yeesh. I'm assuming the clip fasteners are meant to be moreso a break-away safety design rather than to be simply removable, because their holding power is soo weak. Any slight tug, pull, snag, wind gust defeats these fasteners instantly. In my opinion they virtually render the strap functionally useless. Good hat though. Read more

My baby has outgrown his baby sun hats so I got this to hopefully last through toddler years. He's currently 11 months with an average head size and it fits well, surprisingly, even though it looked so big when I opened the box. The rim and the drape in back are large on him but in a really good way- they keep the sun out of his eyes even when he's looking all around. My only worry is if he will outgrow it sooner than I hoped, since it stays on his head well now even without sinching the elastic. But it certainly isn't tight so hopefully it will last a while. One other thing to note is that my son always hates when we put a hat on him and miraculously this one didn't phase him at all. I think maybe the larger size helps. It seems to sit in place without needing to be snug, which is probably more comfortable for him. So time will tell how long we can use it but for now I am super happy with it. Read more

This sun hat is made of pretty decent material and seems like it’ll hold up well. On my 4-year-old, the neck covering is nice and long—it gives great protection for the neck and even some for the shoulders, which is great for the Arizona sun. I like that the chin strap is removable, and the neck flap can be rolled up when not in use. There’s even a handy snap-in holder to keep it neatly out of the way. The royal blue color looks nice. I ordered the 2T–4T size, since my son is on the small to average size, and even though it looks a bit big on him, it does seem just a little snug around his head. Not unwearable, but I’m not sure how long it’ll fit. If your child is on the larger side or you want a bit of room to grow, I’d recommend going with the 4–8 year old size instead. Read more

This hat will be a nice sun hat for my toddler (if I can ever get him to keep it on..). I ordered a size 2T-4T and it fits my 2 year old with a little room to grow. The material feels nice and I appreciate that the chin strap is easily removable (it pulls out of the clips fairly easily with just a little bit of force, and I don't feel like it will come off unintended). The neck flap also can be rolled up and secured under the brim which is a nice touch. This hat also will pack flat in a suitcase which will be good for travel. My toddler doesn't like to wear hats but hopefully this one will be a winner this summer on our trips to the pool, the beach, and a family reunion! Read more
