I bought this dress and another dress on the same day but from 2 different companies. Your dress fit me like a charm and looked more suite realistic than the other dress. The top looked 3D and more elegant VS the other dress. I wore this dress to my job interview and got the job on the spot! I plan on buying more business clothes from this store, delivery was fast too, got it in only a few days and the day before my interview. I was very worried about it being to big because it was a Woman's size small and I have to shop in teens clothes to find things that fit me for I am a very small petite person (5'2" 90lbs) but it fit perfectly and I looked lovely in it. The tailoring and construction of the bodice portion of this dress is fantastic. The material is a thick knit, neatly sewn and pressed very crisp. The back peplum area is my favorite, as it is divided on either side of the back zipper above the hips. The front portion works well to conceal any abdominal bulges. The neckline is a unique shape and I was concerned about it looking too saucy, as cut-outs often do, but it seemed very modest and restrained, especially with the large button. I'm sure color plays a factor in this as well. If you are a small woman with a small hour-glass figure, you will likely find this a wonderful and flattering fit for your body. I'm 5'1", 115 pounds with a small, high waist, small chest, and hobbit legs. This fit my waist area very well. The skirt was also a good fit for my hips and rear, EXCEPT perhaps a little too saucy for a work environment. The tightness of the waist and the roundness of my tush just made it a bit provocative. If this was styled for an evening out, it would be perfect. But the style is sort of professional work dress, so that's a problem. Length-wise, this was great, a perfect slightly-below-the-knee-length for my little legs. OK, here's the biggest problem: the skirt material is disappointing. It's a strange knit material, lighter, less dense than the top portion... it's not "thin"... but it just seems... not very solid. You will understand when you touch it. The printing of the pattern area is a bit weak as well. This portion of the dress looks cheap, unfortunately. I looked at the patterns available very carefully before ordering and I chose the one that hides the back seam as much as possible. If you look at the other dress pattern examples from the back, you can see the patterns don't line up. That's another factor that can make this dress look cheap instead of a knock-out. My height is 5'4" , weight 175lbs and normal dress size is 12-14 due to my loose fitting preference. I ordered a 2XL at first, but the dress was too tight, but no fault of the company. Being that these dresses are Bodycon dresses, they are met to cling to the body. That being said, I never know what size to order because I prefer my dresses to fit more loosely. So I returned the dress and ordered a 3XL and it fits perfectly and I love that it hits just below the top of my knees. I truly appreciate this style of dresses because it can cater to customers who wear tight fitting clothing and customers who dress more modest. The length of the dresses are exactly what I have been looking for and have had a difficult time finding. Thank you for providing such quality dresses at an affordable price. Read more
What it shows and what I got are completely different things. The style is the same, but the top part of the dress was a very ugly pink, and the bottom was a shade between blue and bright blue. Threads were coming off everywhere, and in the back there’s about 6 inches at the waist where the fabric from the top does not meet together, which was the main reason I returned it.(that, and the ugly colors). It fit well, and it was stretchy, but it will only look good from the front if you decide you want it, due to the ruffle piece, not meeting in the back for a large portion. Read more
This dress is basically purple and blue not what it looks like in the photo. I’ll have to take a photo of it later and post it so you can see the difference but it’s a pretty dress just not what I expected. I am 5ft 4 and 180 pounds. I got the largest size they have. I have to wear a shaper undergarment to make it look good. And it’s snug but wearable. Need to lose about 10 more pounds to make it fit the way it should. It’s a good brand.
