Bought these to remove the plaque build up from my dog's teeth. The vet wanted hundreds of not thousands of dollars for my two dogs to be sedated to have their teeth cleaned. We thought we'd try it ourselves. They seem to do the trick and it's easy cheaper than getting them cleaned at the vet. Only complaint is the color is rubbing off a little on some of the tools. I have asked my vet to clean my dogs' teeth 2-3 times, and have been told each visit "their teeth are looking pretty good, so we don't want to run the risk of putting them under unnecessarily." I think it's an absolutely lame excuse, especially since my dogs started developing blackened tartar. Even then, my vet only recommended various products that didn't do jack to actually address the underlying issue.
