I have bought these filters more than once now. They are a great solution for removing the clorine taste of water and providing clean filtered water easily. Just attach it to a garden hose from your water supply, be it city water or some other source and drink freely. I have several of these on hand to filter rain water for consumption in a pinch. I don’t normally write reviews for things like this or that cost less that a hundred bucks, but I wanted to share how perfectly these worked for my use case in case anyone is looking for something similar. I recently purchased a new hot tub and I was talking to the sales person about my water. I live in a rural area, but have city water. The city water is very hard so hard that at my old house. It ate up a brand new water heater after five years. So all that to say when we moved to our new house, I had a water softener system installed. The sales person told me that water from a softener usually doesn’t work well in hot tubs because it can cause the water to be foamy. So as many of us do these days, I went to YouTube to see what I could figure out, and I found a couple of channels that recommended these type of hose filters. The spa dealership offers to test your water before they deliver so they can give you the proper chemicals. I ended up taking a sample of my soft water, the regular water with no filter, and then a sample from these hose filters. They said the sample from these hose filters was great and to use that. I’ve recently had the tub delivered and when I got done filling it, I ran a test strip and the PH, Alkaline, and Hardness were perfect. I literally didn’t need to adjust anything. I just put in my sanitizer and was ready to go. These were great and I plan on keeping them on hand for each time when I drain and refill my hot tub.
