These are great and keep your water clean at RV parks. Those parks you never know how good/clean the water is so these are a must. The price for the value is unbeatable! I've never had any sickness issues from water utilizing these. Easy to install and they have the added benefit of helping decrease the PSI into your RV which can be a problem if to high. I don't think that was the intent, but I've found its an added benefit along with a regulator. Read more
These water filters do the trick to help filter our water in our RV. Follow the procedures and they will help clear out particulates from your water at campsites. We will continue to use these until we come up with a more permanent solution in our Airstream trailer. Read more
Bought these for a cross country camping trip. Filters worked well and threaded up without an issue. The external housing is strong and durable. The filters worked well. Many of the water systems in the various parks had dirt, grit, or rust in the lines and the filters worked great at filtering contaminates out of our water supply. Good price. I would purchase again. I use these for a dehumidifier to get gallons of free water a day. I bought a used dehumidifier at a pawn shop for $60. It holds about 2 gallons with a back drain line. It was fairly new and didn't need much of any leaning but, this filter works way than other brands. I get about 2 -3 gallons a day and the water comes out crystal clear. It's would have to be the purest water ever. I put in everything and the taste is good. Everythjng now has some weird after taste but i can't eaying the ice from the counter top ice machine. We have terrible fluoridated hard water here in San antonio. I hate even bathing in. With this pure water put on boil for pasta or whatever, the water seems to stay more as a element rather then just being wet. It's hard to explain. Now, I have heard there are minerals in water that are supposed to help the body absorb water easier. I'm not a nutritionists but, have heard drinking regular bottled water cure dehydration because there is no salt in for the body to absorb.. your supposed to ad a pinch of salt to your water for that. This is why Gatorade works so well when your thirsty. Electrolytes wtf ever. It's the salt. I havnt had any problem here and If your worried about it add a pinch of salt and pinch of baking soda and then it will be alkized. Only problem is you need a ton old gallon water jugs or some 5 gallon jugs. Humidity here is over 50% all the time so, I can even get a gallon in as little as an hour. So, it can become a mess and make you feel guilty about all the wasted free water. Lol. Although, you mind feel weird drinking water from a dehumidifier but, at least you know exactly where this water is coming from. It coming from the air you breathe and condensated through a coil and dripped into liquid form. To me it's better than distilling and the air feels comfortable to be in . Humidity traps water in that air and creates that clammy sticky ac coldness. It absorbs heat and drives up you electric bill causing your ac to work longer to cool the same space. If but a good $250 on up. You can drip dry after a shower in a few minutes. Don't even need a towel. Read more
