This shower niche is amazing! It installed so easy and the adjustable shelf is a very nice touch. Most niches don’t give you that option but this one does. Easy product, solid, standard, sealed in well, I like the adjustable shelf or option to remove it all together. Buying online saves money and gives more options than the big hardware stores, with no driving around town to find they all lacked in options for this type of product. This item made building and tiling my shower niche easy. As long as your tile work is level and plumb, this does the trick. I did not use the included thick shelf foundation. I chose to fabricate my shelf from a single 3/8" marble tile. Polished the edge of the marble tile with a PVA buffing wheel which also came from Amazon. Read more

A nice niche however I would recommend a thinner outer rim. I had to do a lot of feathering and it still wasn’t perfect. I would recommend instead of creating one. Read more

Niche is all wonky! Not a right angle to be found. Was able to pull the frame to get it some what straight when I installed it in the framing. Only to find out it will through the bottom out of level. Very frustrating. Was able to correct deficiencies when setting tile but it is work you should have to do. Update!!! Per my review the seller refunded my purchase, apologized and thought it was a one time occurence. Hoped that I would try their product again. So well see. I may try it out on my next shower build. If you're considering a schluter or redi niche don't bother! Just get this one and do it right the first time. Especially if you're using hardibacker as you're backer board. It's an exact thickness match to 1/2" Hardie and the texture is similar as well. You can actually tile right on this one unlike some of the plastic abs ones out there.
