My brother told me about this. Why didn’t I get one of these years ago. Used it for different projects and it was very easy to use. Laser is perfect brightness. Like the variations of levels vertically and horizontally. Well worth the money. From doing a feature wall to hanging photos, pretty cool to have. Read more

It seems to be a decent quality stand. Gets a little unstable at the higher extension. Adjustments are very good. It’s my fault but purchased to hang pictures and falls short for height elevations. It strikes me as camera tripod more then a level tripod but it will work. Read more

This Huepar Lightweight 63-Inch Adjustable Tripod is a fine quality yet inexpensive tripod well suited to various types of photography (portrait, macro, landscape, time lapse, and long exposure), holding a laser level on construction sites, etc. It can be used as a video tripod also in a pinch, alhough it lacks viscous dampening on the horizontal and vertical axes. It's well-made of plastic and aluminum and has various convenience features including a nice zippered storage and carrying pouch, a carrying handle on the tripod body, a bubble level on the pan head and a circular bubble level on the tripod base, as well as a 1/4" to 5/8" threaded adapter. The plate to which the camera or other device to be held is mounted, and can be quickly removed with the flip of a release lever for easier attachment to the device, for quick lens swaps, etc. There is a crank-up center post for quick height adjustments. That's not something that is always found on low-priced tripods, but it's a great feature (practically mandatory for me). The center post and crank mechanism are plastic, however, which is OK but not as smooth and precise as it could be had these components been made out of aluminum. But that would have driven up the cost, so I'm willing to live with it. Although the product ad does specify the maximum height of the tripod, it seemed a lot taller to me in person, which is a good thing. With the controls all locked down it's fairly stable, but if additional stability is needed (in high winds, or when taking time exposures at night for instance) there is an integrated hook at the bottom of the center post on which a weigh can be hung for an extra stable experience. The heaviest camera I have is a Nikon DSLR with a long zoom lens (as shown in one of the photos I attached to this review), and this tripod has NO problems with that amount of weight. I have other tripods that I use, but this one is my new favorite! Read more

Using it to mount a laser level. Good unit if you are not using it daily. Read more
