Sturdily constructed laptop pan, but mount clamps can't be attached due to an improperly sized clip mount hole alignment. Not a big deal if you don't need to fasten the laptop. You wont miss the clamps if you're just using them at a static desk, but my use case is for my laptop on a crash cart. Secured mount is pretty important for me. UPDATE: The clamp clips fit the outermost rim of the mount. I mistakenly tried clamping them farther in like other laptop arm mount trays I have. Changed review to 5 starts. Just make sure you have all your parts as I had to return the first order to get the clips and screws. Read more

I was looking for the best of these, and this appeared to be that... which isn't saying much. It looks OK, and is sturdy, but has plastic parts that are a little disappointing. A friend had purchased another one that looked like an X and said that he didn't feel it needed the little side grabbers. I kinda like that they're there, but I'm not sure they're all that necessary. So value-wise this is fine, but I do wish that there was an option that was a little better thought-out. I think if you want one with grabber arms, this is your jam (you just kinda slide it in, they don't actually clamp), but it's not like this is awesome. Read more
I bought this after being issued a work laptop, and being allowed to work remotely. My personal computer rig includes 2 27" vertically mounted monitors with a horizontally mounted 32" monitor between them, so it takes up a lot of space on my desk. I got this stand to free up real estate and it's exactly what I needed. Works exactly as described. It's solidly built, attaches firmly and seems to hold my work laptop secure. Read more
This is a high quality product that is exactly as advertised. It feels good (sturdy, strong, smooth), looks right (not too big, not too small), and securely holds my laptop, which was not cheap, in such a way that I feel confident that I can walk out of the room and not worry about it falling off no matter what orientation I have it in. The best part is that the customer service is outstanding! I had one small problem and, because I had to use an online fill in the blank form, thought I would never hear back from them (for the grammar police I know it should be "it"). Instead, within an hour or less they (it; the company) not only responded, but had my situation handled and corrected. I would highly recommend making a purchase from this company and no, I don't know anyone who works there and have nothing to do with the company other than making this purchase and dealing with its outstanding customer service. I'm using this tray to mount my 16" MacBook Pro to a gas spring monitor mount stand. It works very well. I am using the MBP as a second monitor and have attached an external keyboard and mouse, so I can't comment on whether it is a good solution for people who want to primarily use the MBP keyboard and touchpad, but my configuration works well for me. The adjustable side clips are a nice touch and give me confidence that the laptop won't slide off the stand. I didn't read the assembly instructions carefully and wasn't able to attach the square "C" clips to the side clips. I emailed customer support and quickly received a reply which politely pointed out my error. Well done, HumanCentric customer service! Was able to setup my dual laptop station in my office. The trays are very sturdy and mounted easily to the arms. I really like the adjustability that this has. One weakness might be when you have to clip the holders on the side of the tray. I could see someone breaking the clips if they're too forceful with them. Read more
I should have read reviews for this before buying it. As someone said before, it works, but it's just a little disappointing. The angle it attaches to the vesa plate is extreme and doesn't work as well as it could with my particular monitor arm. The weight of the laptop is maybe too much at this particular angle, so it sags down. It works with my work laptop, which is much smaller than my personal laptop, but it doesn't work with my personal laptop, a 16-in MacBook Pro. My work laptop also folds out nearly 180 degrees, so it doesn't matter as much that the trap sags down since I can adjust the screen. It's also hard to remove the tray from the bracket - there's not much space to allow for easy sliding. The little "feet" at the bottom also feel flimsy. I might keep using it since I already got it, but I might just get a better one down the line. Not really a keeper for me - maybe I'll find a better use for it later. Read more
