Fit Ford Ex 2011 thru 2014, may not fit 2015. Check with retailer. More coverage than Weathertech, have both and use Huskys. -drivers side covers entire foot rest and high up around to right foot; -lip covers up to edge of door jamb where carpet stops at sill plate, and lip covers top back part behind feet. -2nd row has pattern on hump which is much nicer than Wtech, otherwise coverage is same. All mats have spikes on bottom to keep them from moving, works well in front, can move a tad in 2nd row. Wtech drivers side uses the 2 studs, nice but have not had any movement using Huskys. Easy to clean with paper towel and water, DO NOT use any vinyl cleaner or RainX or anything similair or these will become slippery and stay that way. You will curse yourself if you do-dont try to keep these shiny-its not worth it. Also - Slippery when wet ! In bigger cars/SUVs, be sure to have a firm step when getting in or out, instead of a sliding in step like kids do when they get in the car, or you will slip when these are wet. Also if you plant your foot to pick up or move something - you will slip so get a good spot. You cannot remove these liners to clean snow or water without almost tipping them straight up to be able to remove them, not catch the sharp spikes on your upholstery, and then to actually get it outside, another bending trick that believe me, you cannot do without spilling the entire contents back into the car. So please, forget about it. Just mop up with Bounty towels if its too much water, and when at home, mop up and then wipe off with Bounty and water, will be fine. These hold water so well, if you had to survive, you could wit your new Husky liners, if you had a drinking straw in the car. A tip for the Wtech drivers side liner - the foot rest part is short, and if you plant your foot there a lot in winter, the water, snow, etc from the top part will run down the foot rest and behind the liner and sit on the carpet. It wont really dry, since the liner covers the carpet and the heat vent is off to the right-too high to dry the carpet. So you shold remove the liner and let that area dry on a regular basis, if you are using Wtech liner. Read more
We live in a state where it can snow for up to 8 months out of the year, plus we have kids and dogs, so we try to put weatherproof mats into all of our vehicles as soon as we get them. We just recently bought a new to us SUV that came with fabric mats. While I was researching weather proof mats to replace them with I came across these Husky Weatherbeaters. The price was actually better than some of the other well known brands and shipping speed was 2 days with Amazon whereas the others were all at least a week or two on their webpages. These were easy to install right out of the box and they fit perfectly into our SUV, not cutting necessary. The driver side mat comes all the way up as well offering more protection than the others I was considering. The 2nd row is a little unwieldy at first since it’s all one big piece but once it’s in there it’s not going anywhere and it offers great coverage. With these mats installed I’m no longer worried about muddy, wet feet or spills ruining my floorboards. I want to give it a bit longer to make sure there are no random issues but I’m considering buying a set for our truck in the near future as well since our current mats aren’t the greatest. Read more
I was debating between the WeatherTech liners and Husky liners for my 2013 Ford Explorer Limited. I decided to choose the Husky WeatherBeater liners because the provide a great fit in the vehicle, are durable, and were cheaper than competition. These liners are awesome and have done a great job at protection my 2013 Ford Explorer. There are small nubs on the bottom to prevent sliding around on the carpeting. These liners are easy to remove and wash the mud, dirt, and dust. The package I purchased includes a liner for driver, passenger, and 2nd row seats. The 2nd row liner is awesome because it covers the carpeted hump in the center. I am so impressed with these liners that I may purchase the 3rd row liner for the times when we have extra passengers (not often). I bought a different brand product for our cargo liner because I liked the thickness, texture, and durability better. I cannot comment on how the Husky Liner is for the cargo area of the 2013 Explorer since I have never given it a chance. I would recommend Husky liners to my friends in a heartbeat. Read more
Please, don't get me wrong; these are great. Knowing that WeatherTech matts are considered the top of the line product, cost considerations and honest regular home to office daily use (no rough riding) pushed me to Husky's for my 2013 Ford Explorer Limited. Nevertheless, I am very pleased, no second thoughts. I may change my mind later for the better (I hope) and thus this review, but as of only three days after installation, some of the corners and edges still do not conform to foot well neither on driver's and copilot's side (A picture is worth a thousand words). I am taking into account that the packaging they come in from factory, may allow some temporary deformation during warehousing and shipping, so I'll give them a little more time and like I said above, if they change, so will this review and all five stars will be posted. They do fit great, like a glove to a hand, the liners fall into place perfectly. The sides come huggin a bit over the edge of the well guaranteeing containment of any type spill, solid or liquid. This is the feature that I most like and wanted on a set of mats for my truck. Nothing more annoying than trying to vacuum and clean the corner edge of the carpet between the floor and the wall of the foot well. The second seat's mat also fits great. I wish they would reach further under the front seats, though. This feature would help protect more of the original carpet under the seats and would help catch whatever may fall or spill (as it tend to happen) when handling stuff by pilot and copilot. All and all, I fully recommend this mats. I am pleased with my purchase. Read more
