Ready to install out of the box. Slightly harder to install than the competitor, but that was due to the little spiky nubs on the underside. Those help keep the mat firmly in place, so they are a benefit once installed. Very little to no odor, which is rare for larger plastic items these days. I'm going to attribute that to them being made in the USA, as stuff from China usually has the chemical smell. They were precision cut exactly to my car, and the edges were clean with no manufacturing defects. They aren't a glamorous item or beauty upgrade over the factory mats, which were nice. But I definitely feel that they will protect the carpets from my kids, and are very easy to wipe clean or vacuum. I have the competitor installed in my wife's mini van, and after seeing these, I would go back and purchase the husky liners instead. Read more

I am really impressed how well these mats fit in my car. They provide great coverage of the entire floor area and the deep well design is sure to trap whatever gets tracked into the vehicle. They fit so well it's difficult to get them in and out so although the surface is easy to clean if you want to take them out of the vehicle to really wash it's a chore, not likely something I'll want to do every time I clean my car. They are a harder material than I was expecting, not as soft as rubber mats but appear to be very sturdy and I expect durable although I've only had them about a month so can't really speak to longevity. For the money I think these are a good buy if you really want to protect your carpet from kids, pets and the like tracking stuff in your vehicle. Read more
