This is my son's water bottle and he loves it. We've been lifelong Camelbak users but have noticed the flip-up spout would lose its ability to stay closed so I searched for an alternative. It needed to have a straw, be durable, have a lid, and look cool. This checked off all the boxes and the strap was an added bonus. The progress marks are great but not a necessity for my son. The straw and bite valve are large enough to satisfy my son's consumption needs and the size is perfect for handling as well as fitting into cup holders and backpack pockets. That's something our Camelbaks struggled with. The flip cap keeps the bite valve clean and is easy to operate. The strap makes carrying it around less awkward and provides some choices when securing it to your bag. Overall, a great choice for us and the two-tone color style looks pretty sharp. My youngest son staked his claim to this water bottle before I could use it. He likes the locking snap/pop lid and the comfortable size to hold. He likes it so much I had to buy 3 more, another -for me this time, and one for my wife and other son. We like the attached carry strap, diameter of the bottle (easy to carry in your hand), and the volume, a full 32oz. Our other water bottles -same size- were only 16oz. The lids have a handy pattern texture on the rubber edge of the lid for easy lid removal and tightening. We recently traveled with them and had no complaints of leaks. Read more
