When found recently available as a new product release had opted to give this item a good tryout. Upon ordering to arrival - all went as usual - prompt - boxed secure - no damage found. Being a set of 4 - they r very light in weight - constructed well - inc additional hardware as stated - nothing missing. Upon ck out of each : found no discrepancies - all appearing same. Operation : all found operable along with each of their n-line flip switch feature. As for light output : they r very bright - coldish white (which is best for garage / workshop usage). This sets only the '2ft version' which personally had wanted for vertical side wall mounting. Hardware inc (chains, j-hooks, screws, and brackets) - for various scenarios ... the brackets were used here. Once brackets r in place to the wall positions (2 per lite) the rear of each lite simply snaps onto the clips. This makes for an ez install / removal - an added plus for cleaning purposes since these r 'open' between tubes. Thats only 1 of the 2 main diferences between this type and the other style that hava front diffuser that fully encase the fixture - these will require a tad more time to clean off - thou not a negative by no means - and that's due to the other main difference - these broadcast lite out 180 vs front diffuser encased lites where the lite angle is less leaning more towards a 'spot' light effect to enhance their brightness. This type here is more like the typical old style flourescents while giving off brighter, whiter, quicker lite while giving off less heat all the while maintaining less output of $$$ to operate ... which only results in a true win-win situation. Each lite is equipped with a 5ft cord - the in-line flip switch is installed at the mid way point - switch case is 2 3/8" by an inch wide. Personally had clipped the cord along its way to the wall and had adhered each switch by means of HD velcro to the wall for easier on/off operation. The included pair of chains for each r approx a foot in length. This brand does have another earlier version available (same style - equal price point) ... thou rated '30w' where these r rated at '22w'. Those r also warrantied for only 2 yr. vs the one in hand being warranted for a full '5 year'. Believe me - '22w' output (equivalent to 200w cfl or flourescent) is still extremely brite AND if used in multiples saves even more precious $$$ in the juice dept ... simply another win-win. I chose these for my home office and garage because they do not need complicated wiring. Plug them in and you are good. They are lightweight, so moving them around or mounting them in different spots is easy. The light is bright and clean at 5000K, which works well for workspaces.
