I bought the 100 watt 5000k version with a diffuser. The light is plenty bright for only being 100 watts. I mounted mine about140 inches above the floor. That appears to be a great height for it. I believe the 150 watt version would need to be mount mounted higher up than mine are. I like the 5000k color temperature. I don’t care for the look of lights that are 6000 k or more. For me the diffuser is worth EVERY PENNY. It nice to be able to look up and not be blinded. Also the more even light from a led light with a diffuser makes for a much more pleasant work environment. I don’t often give 5 star reviews. I am very impressed with this light. My shop is very large and I will be buying more of them. Read more

I bought one of these to hang from a 15' ceiling above my work bench/drill press at my shop which is well lit but needed a little more task lighting in this area. Wow, what a difference it made, I actually moved it farther away from the wall after I saw the impressive beam angle and now it seemed to light nearly all of my 30 x 30 pole barn. Great output from these little things, nearly as much as my 250w lights with full size diffusers. Love the lower profile on these though and may use them in another part of the shop with lower ceilings where the larger units wouldn't be practical. As expected with LEDs they come on fast and full brightness. The diffuser makes them tolerable to look at without getting instantly blinded and making a good spread of light at about 12 feet up. Even has some good upward lighting for those of you lucky enough to have drywall in your shop. On top of all this the build quality is stellar with a cast enclosure with a locking hook and a backup safety cable. Pretty hard to go wrong with these. Read more
