I used to make my own Parboiled Rice, but that's just more extra work. This is perfect for all my rice needs. I make Plain White Rice, Fried Rice, Rice Pudding, any Flavored Rice. Anything I want rice in, this works. Not much more I can say about it other than it's cheap, taste good and cooks up perfect. I use One Part Rice to Two Parts Water. Then I put foil on top of the pan and cover it tightly and go by the number of minutes stated on the bag. It comes out perfect every time. From there, I can make Rice Pudding, Fried Rice or whatever I want. I even cook my rice first, before making Paella. I know that's not traditional, but that's how I do it and my Paella cooks in about 1/3 of the time. I recommend this rice and don't think you'll be disappointed. I keep my bag in a glass, air tight container (the same way I keep my dried beans). Thank you for reading my review. Read more

Awesome rice! Cooks quickly in the pressure cooker. Read more
I loved the quick easy cooking with this item and it tastes good. Par-boiled is supposed to be healthier than plain white rice. I would give it 1 more star but I had a strange experience later cooking leftovers in a saute pan with olive oil. The rice actually popped all over the stove and counter as if it was popcorn. I never had that happen before with white or brown rice; half of it landed feet away. So, I will nuke leftovers instead (with a lid of course) in the future. Read more

I think this was a bad batch. I’ve always bought ibera rice and loved it without issues. But this time, the ones I bought all have a strange strong smell and the texture is bad. No matter how long I cook it for it has the hard and soft texture where it’s not evenly soft. I wish I didn’t buy 5 packs because sadly, they will go to waste Read more
So I decided not to rinse the rice to see It it would come out as good as it says for the part where it said it wouldn't be as starchy & sticky and They were 100% right. This is literally the best rice that I have made and it was no stickiness at all without rinsing prior cooking Read more
