This slow cooker arrived, quickly and well packaged! I have only used it one time so far, but my beef roast with vegetables turned out delicious and well cooked after leaving them cooking for six hours overnight on low. The quality is very good and I was able to sear my vegetables in the pot included before cooking the vegetables in with it This is a great value…Just buy it! As others have said, this pot does get very hot so be really careful while it is cooking and after your food is done so that you don’t get burned! PS, I got the red one and it is very attractive in my kitchen as it adds a pop of color Read more

I’m 74 and I had a crockpot that was very heavy that I just gave away. This one is terrific and I love being able to cook right on the stove and then put it on the crockpot piece. It does get hot so you have to pay attention to that. And do what they say, and cook water in it before you use it the first time. However, it’s a tremendously useful tool. Read more
