If someone who for a long time has dealt with intermittent lower back pain, I'm always in the lookout for things that help when sitting in a car for a long trips. One of the most helpful things I found is a pillow that can sit between my lower back, and this pillow is a perfect example. I've used some smaller pillows that are held permanently in place the bunker strap. This pillow is larger than others I've used, but easy enough to store somewhere else, and then slip behind me when needed. The pillow itself is made from nice black synthetic leather. This pillow is so luxurious. The leather is so utterly buttery. My hands have never held something so sumptuous. The level of squish is excellent. It's soft, whilst maintaining some retention. This is a quality pillow (as it should be for the price). It has a satisfactory combination of support and “give” so when you sit with it behind you it doesn’t force you away from the seat. We use the cushion both on household chairs and in the auto. The pillow has some snaps to hold it in place on the car seat but there is no included strap one could use to do so. The covering material is at whatever temperature the car is so if the car is cold, so is the pillow cover until body heat warms it. In the house the cover temperature is not an issue. Overall we have sturdy construction, good support, and reasonable comfort. I don’t understand the appeal to luxury automobiles in the ad. Perhaps the quilted section of the cover is part of that sell. We are just looking for comfort. The pillow provides that but at a price that may leave you shopping. Read more

I got this for long drives in my car. My seat is pretty good but somewhat lacking in the lumbar area of the seat. This pillow looks great and it provides a good amount of support without making sitting in my car uncomfortable. Very nice. Read more

I've been looking for lumbar support for my Volvo and other pillows I tried were too thick. This one fits more comfortably for me and my hip and back pain is not as bad after driving. Description says it's Nappa leather and it certainly feels like quality leather (or at least quality material if they're fudging). The leather feels very similar to the leather in a Bentley I had to drive once. Pillow is made very well with great stitching. Zipper in the back is somewhat hidden. Read more
