Got these on a limited sale. 1st impressions, after swapping out the laces for easy on/off elastic ones. The soles do seem to be very supportive. Nice inner soles. Shoes are comfortable, tread on the soles is like a diamond tread for pavement not aggressive like for hiking. Most of the cost of these In my opinion is for the supportive soles which is not a bad thing, for me support is most important. The uppers are no frill man made materials and basic, aside from the green symbol on the side, no stylish embellishments. I have a feeling if you walked on dew covered grass, your socks will be soaked. Not sure how durable these will be. Not sure about these at $60 although very reasonable compared to brand name competition. On clearance its a much easier decision. I will update this review if anything else pops up. Read more

I found these shoes to be very stiff and hard, and significantly larger on the outside than my last pair of wide toe box sneakers that are the same size. The outsole is pretty thick, and it doesn't give. Walking around in these is very harsh and clunky, and they are rather uncomfortable to wear. The insoles that came with these are a bit spongy under the front part of my foot (plantar?). This might offer comfort to some. For me, it's an odd design, and I use a firmer, orthotic insole anyway, which just doesn't work with these. I had to return them. Read more
