I have to write an exceptional review for this item because its worthy of one. I had half of a very large flipper/bridge break off my natural teeth. The "Flipper" has metal on the inside. Long story short, I had to have those teeth removed and a new plastic flipper made. The new one never fit, not even a little bit. The Dentist even said to the tech "Who made this thing"? So I was left with a mouth to heal and no teeth to wear. I decided to order this product and it solved every problem I had. I was able to make a palet from the clear and a gum line for the top of the old one using my old flipper! AMAZING!! I don't wear it continually as I'm still letting my gums heal from the surgery. When I go back to the Dentist to get the final work done MY finished product will be going with me. I wish I had known about this stuff before my flipper broke off as it could have tightened spots temporarily, instead of going to the Dentist 3 times a week! Yes! 3 times a week with a problem! I used it as the gums part on my DIY partial I made using an actual denture tooth I took from a set used this gum material to press into that tooth shape it to the empty space I had and it’s perfect actually it wasn’t easy at all because it’s not something we should do. I have purchased this item twice; the first time I bought the pack of 2 and then the last time just a pack of 1. Glutton for punishment I guess. I used it to line a dental partial when my gumline started changing shape. It definitely worked - temporarily, anyway. After a couple of weeks the plastic loses its shape and has to remolded. Reshaping can only be performed a couple of times because the plastic also becomes somewhat brittle and less pliable. Also, the color of the plastic changes color from a semi-translucent pink to a solid coral-type of color. I'm assuming anyone browsing for this item finds the pink color important (as I do) and is also willing to exercise his / her creative talents (as I am). I regret that I rewarded this capitalist manufacturer ~$25 just because it's the only pink moldable plastic online. It pisses me off to be taken advantage of. For what I paid for this item, I could have had 8.8 oz of ThermoMorph Moldable Plastic Pellets (ASIN B07BGBZJ94) for $13.95 and Americolor Soft Gel Paste Food Color, 3/4-Ounce, Soft Pink (ASIN B000MTBN2S) for an additional $5.50.
