I have taken alpha lipoic acid for quite some time but the brand that I preferred is no longer being produced in the dosage that I prefer which is 600 mg. This is pure R type and is stabilized. I have to say for myself that it is proving to be very effective in controlling my peripheral diabetic neuropathy.
