What I like about this product is that it addresses all of my concerns regarding turmeric which are: Is it the whole herb? Is it standardized? and, Is it bioavailable? The answer is yes to all. This has helped my back problems and decreased my dependence on NSAIDs. Curcumin is difficult to absorb in any sufficient quantity. The fact that this is micronized makes this easier to absorb. Is it what it says it is? Yes. Is it worth it? I think not. I do not dispute the quality, but why an extract when you can much more inexpensively simply buy turmeric itself? From what I have learned, extracts are not better than the whole spice. Turmeric is known to be beneficial for reducing inflammation, but the efficacy of extracts like this one are not well researched. I'll go with the real stuff from now on. Read more
