May be it is the best one of its kind I have ever used. Elegant, genuine material, and user friendly. Thanks Read more
Like most guys, I have ugly feet, and my toenails are no exception. Unfortunately they are very thick, and I usually have a tough time getting regular nail clippers to pierce through the tough nail, and I end up having to apply way too much pressure, and if my fingers don't slip off and knick my nail, cuticle, or hurt my fingers, it still requires too much pressure. Enter these clippers. The description says they're for seniors, but I certainly don't consider myself one of those! I used these to cut my toenails very precisely, and the result was better than I could have imagined. They are so sharp, they made quick work with minimal/moderate pressure, which was much easier with the pliers-style handles rather than the traditional nail-clippers design. The only issue I had was that I'm right handed, so using them with my other hand was difficult, but certainly no fault of the clippers themselves. One word of caution - I would not get these for children, they are basically curved scissors/wire cutters, and they are extremely sharp. Read more

This is build like an EDC multi-tool. The cutter head folds inside the handles. Once opened it has a better feel than something like a Leatherman as the metal has been radiused so the steel edges are rounded smooth. The joint flat spring mechanisms are stiff and care needs to be taken when opening. Numerous times the tip of one side of the cutter or other has poked my thumb, those tips are sharp! The tips are space apart when closed and while opening and positioned such that it's difficult not to touch them. I'm not sure why these are recommended for 'seniors' but I wouldn't want my 85 year old mother opening these. The cut is ok. I have German steel made traditional nail clippers which make perfect cuts. I also have cheap store bought ones which don't make perfect cuts. The cut on this is in between and closer to the cheap store bought ones. One thing to consider is traditional squeeze type clippers can be easily operated with either hand. Since this clipper requires a plier/scissor grip It can be difficult to use your non-dominant hand to cut the other hand's nails with precision. Or even control it safely if you're a 'senior'. To me these seem tailored for someone who uses them to cut other peoples nails. The listing says these are about half the size of regular clippers and good for travel. Actually these are about twice the size of regular ones and too bulky for travel. I can't see taking these out of the house. Read more
This is the first time I have used a set of nail clippers of this design (which looks like a wire clipper). I have to say that I prefer the traditional design over this one but for some people this might work better as you can get into tight corners of the nails with the pointed tips (especially for people who get hangnails). But my discomfort with these are the pointed tips as if you are not careful you could poke or cut yourself with them. They have a folding design which makes these safer during storage & travel as the handles cover the sharp tips. That being said these are really high quality. They are solidly built and come with a very nice folding faux leather black case. They are made from durable stainless steel and the foldable handles are also well built. These clippers will last for many years. As I said before they look like wire clippers but the blades are slightly curved. And the blades are sharp. These clippers were very effective at trimming my nails. For people who like this style I would say that they are 5 stars all the way. Read more

There's one thing I don't get about these clippers. They're advertised as being for men, specifically for seniors. While I fall under both categories, these toenail clippers can also be used by women and younger folks. By the weight you can immediately tell that these clippers mean business. They come nicely folded in a protective travel case, and open quite easily. Please note that this tool is very sharp, so make sure you're not cutting into your own flesh. If your eyesight is failing, have someone else use them to cut your nails. Overall I have to say that I prefer this model over the more traditional nail clippers that make it so hard to find the right angle. And as long as you're careful, you'll be happy with the results. I really like this style of nail clippers. The curved tips make it easier to deal with some of my more stubborn toenails which tend to curl inward from time to time. The foldable design is also a very convenient aspect, and I very much appreciate that they included a nice protective carrying case for these clippers. The sharpness of the clipper blades seems fantastic to me, and the overall sturdiness and durability lead me to believe that these are a pretty decent quality set. The textured handle grips make it easy to hold and control these clippers, and I have found them to be very user-friendly so far. One particular feature which I appreciate is the ability to clip my nails with more precision using these, because they have such nicely tapered blades. I’m keeping this set for myself, but I think these would also make a nice stocking-stuffer idea, or a thoughtful gift for another occasion. I’m very happy with these so far, and I think they’re a fairly reasonable value. Read more
