I want to let you know that I am reviewing this item from a seniors normal aging skin perspective. I spent the first couple of days going over the instructions (which are very helpful) before attempting using it. It recommended using on the inner arm first, that is a big mistake for seniors as our skin thins with age and that's one of the areas that has very thin skin so my first interaction was PAIN (and this was on the lowest setting of the LIFT setting) sending zinging nerve endings up and down my arm (reason for 4 star). I put it away and took it out the next day and tried it on my décolleté. That went fairly well so I used it on my face and although I could handle it I found that it still wasn't a pleasant experience. So back to the instructions. The next evening I tried it on the RF-Ti on the lowest setting and used on my face. Although I felt the tingling it was not objectionable and I was fine with this setting. As I experimented on these two settings I realized that using more of the contact gel made this a much better experience and much easier to glide over the skin. Having tackled that I moved on to the INFUSE setting which allowed me to use whichever serum I liked from my cosmetics and it seemed as though it were drying it into my skin. And then my favorite is the COOL setting which does what it says and you feel the cooling and calming on your skin as it easily glides over your skin. I might eventually try the LIFT setting but I doubt I will ever use the A-Shot for this aging skin. But the modes I chose for myself seem to be working well for me and I feel that after a week of use my skin is starting to notice the benefits in that my skin feels a touch more refined and smooth. The Sphera is quite an amazing, well thought out and executed cosmetic device and there is something here for most any age and skin type. This is a fabulous skincare tool. I have several Inia devices and products and they are all well made and work well. This is no exception! Aesthetically and functionally it is similar to the popular Jmoon device and its modes are similar to the viral Medicube Age Booster Pro. The best thing is that it has the quality and modes of those devices while being more affordable! The Medicube air shot device which only has 1 mode, on its own costs $150+. It has 4 modes: infuse, lift, airshot and cool. You can integrate this device into your routine by cleansing, then using airshot (on dry clean skin), calm it using the cool mode then use infuse with your serums. On other days you can focus on microcurrent by using the lift mode. The cool mode also is perfect the the AM when you want to depuff your face. You do have to provide your own conductive gel, but Inia does sell its own or you can use any solid ultrasound gel, which is very affordable. The mode strength level is adjustable so you can start low and build up tolerance. The modes that incorporate evaporation and microcurrent are very tolerable, even for new users. The cool mode is super relaxing and feels wonderful. I love that the infuse mode can help my skincare be even more effective. It's not too heavy and it fits nicely in your hand. The part that touches your face is shaped in a way that allows it to get into smaller areas and follow the contour of your face. It has a cool feature that activates the tool based on its contact with your skin. Seeing results does take time and consistent use. You only need to use this a couple times a week! It's very easy to use and pretty intuitively designed. There are buttons for each of the modes and it's simple to adjust the power level. The device comes beautifully packaged and would make a fabulous gift as it definitely provides a luxe unboxing experience. A stand and charging cord are included which is perfect for putting the device on a shelf or counter for storage/charging. It came 80% charged so you can use it out of box. You can also register it to extend the warranty on the website. The instruction manual is very clear and provides specs for each mode. They even have suggested routines and order usage for the modes, so handy!! All in all, this product provides a ton of value. It can replace multiple standalone devices.
