I have a blue heeler that is wild and full of energy. He absolutely adores this toy. He loves chasing and biting it when it makes noise even without food/trets in it. It comes with multiple size holes to put in based on treat size. The smaller hole is a little large though if you just use food definitely need a bigger sized treat or they all fall out. Overall this looks to be a fun, interactive ball, treat dispenser for dogs. The soccer design of the ball is cute and the blue color is vibrant. The hole through which treats are inserted and dispensed, measures 0.8 inches. The ball comes with a ring that is screwed over the hole with a yellow key. This would be helpful for smaller treats to ensure they don't fall out of the ball too easily. Unfortunately, the three rings that the ball comes with are the same size. I guess they provided extra rings in case you lost one or two. Since dog treats vary greatly in size, I would've appreciate a ring with 3 different sizes. In one of my pics, you can see that the treat is pretty good size, and I just left the ring off because the treat is too large and would not come out of the hole. However, some treat sizes are very small and they would just fall right out of the hole in droves, which would defeat the purpose of making your dog work for their treats. This problem could have been addressed if the rings come in different sizes to fit different size treats. The ball itself is made of natural rubber and a synthetic polymer. Its durability, I think, depends on the size and strength of your dog's jaws, or whether or not your dog would even bother to bite the ball. What I don't like about the surface of the ball is, it's the kind of material that hair and dirt really sticks to. You can't just wipe it off with your fingers, you need a moist cloth. The ball also has a tiny speaker and makes an electronic squeaky sound when it's rolled. Unfortunately, there is no mechanism by which the batteries can be changed, so this squeaky sound has a limited lifespan. But all in all, this is a decent product. It could use some improvements. My beloved Border Collie passed away a few years ago, but I plan to get a new dog soon. I'm sure s/he is going to find this toy a lot of fun and the treats rewarding. Not badly priced. Read more

The problem I have with this toy is the inside of it. I don't know if you can see in my photos but, inside the toy are two white poles that make the giggle sound. The problem is when I put treats in the toy I want to wash it after to keep it clean for my dogs. With the small opening I couldn't properly reach around the poles inside to scrub and sanitize it. Maybe I am worrying to much but, my dogs health is always my number one priority. Instead I will just not use this for treats and simply give it to my dogs to play with. For that purpose it is great and my dogs are having fun with it. It was hard for it to make the giggle noise at first but, after my dogs played with it for a couple days the sound was more smooth. The material is a hard plastic and so far very durable. The size is good, not too big or too small just the right size. In my opinion the price is great and the quality is good for an average dog toy. Read more
