I have used iSmile whitening system twice now and I am very pleased with the results which is why I purchased the refill kit. Based on both rounds of whitening, I recommend experimenting with the exposure times. For the first round of whitening, I only allowed 10 minutes exposure time for 10 days, followed by the remineralizing gel as per the instructions and I was pleased with the results. The second round of whitening was only 5 days, but I increased exposure time to 15 minutes and there was a notable improvement over the 10 minute exposure time. Also, I found that applying the whitening gel to my teeth with a Q-tip resulted in better coverage of my teeth. I used the whitening system before bed and avoided any beverage, other than water, after whitening was complete. Of course, in the morning I went about my day business as usual. I am being cautious with the number of applications and the length of time between whitenings just to be on the safe side. Overall, this product is remarkable. Read more

It helps whiten the teeth in the very front. However, it only works on the teeth in the very front right where the light is at. It doesn't do anything to the canine teeth or further back.
