It has an initial seaweed, grassy smell when you’re preparing the matcha , but it tastes absolutely amazing in the latte. I am super picky. I do not like strong vegetal notes, bitterness, or astringency. This matcha was mellow, sweet, and nutty imo. The color is super green too, pictures don’t do the blue hue justice. To be fair, I also don’t make my matcha with water at 170 degrees, I usually do a cooler temp (I forgot). 💔 The only thing I wish that were different is the price tag.
