This is a beautiful solution for a magsafe phone. Holds very securely. Need a steady phone for a video call so the other end doesn't get dizzy from your hand movements? Want a handle for steady videos? This is a great solution for those purposes. I find my videos are MUCH more smooth when holding this stand attached to my iPhone 16 Pro Max. The build quality is superb. The hinges are stiff enough to hold the position in whatever position you configure with the stand. All the points that will touch a table or desk is padded so there should be no chance of a scratch. The feet have nonslip material so no scratches and it has no inclination to slide or move. Very well thought out. All edges are smooth and noting feels sharp so is comfortable to hold and manipulate. It is very light weight. All aluminum. It has earned a spot in my bag because if folds into a small shape and is so light. The only improvement I could wish for is for a magsafe ring on the back side of the part that hold the phone. Why? I could then attach another device, like my video monitor, or my SSD for storage. A minor point. It has a 1/4" threaded point for a tripod mount and I will be using that feature! A fabulous stand. This is a very nice solid stand with nearly too many ways to unfold - place and use: all being great for holding a phone stable and firmly in nearly any position (vertical and horizontally), heights, and tilt. - The actual stand is solid machine cut aluminum, nothing but the little rubber (silicone) feet and the cushion on the magnetic ring is not metal - yet at 118g very reasonably sized and weighted. The joints on the legs fold and unfold easily, the top element with the ring is very (very) stiff but right now I am adding this as a plus, as too many times the weighted portion of a stand does not hold its item sturdily. - And the magnet (joined with my aftermarket magnet to Android phone) is beyond solid; I nearly have to “pry” my phone off the stand. - I have no doubt the stand would be able to hold my “mini” iPad and possibly even my standard 11” one. The uses and positions are endless, downward - upward - low to the surface - higher off the surface - as a little “selfie” hand extension - or, and that is a huge extra: it even fits the standard thread of a tripod! - Now I can have great extenders, or stabilization for night or nature/bird photography! The ONLY thing to make this beyond perfect would have been a little (pocket) case - at least a string bag or more “fancy” a little faux leather case like for multi-tools to fit your pocket to protect. **. OVERALL.** A great sturdy versatile but light weight solid metal/aluminum stand - with a very strong magnet that can hold phones and possibly even iPads without problems. I like trying out accessories with my phone and I'm finding that sometimes simple is better. This stand has a very large profile and isn't practical for my purposes. I essentially want something to hold my phone while I stream and give me the best viewing angle. For this it is great, however it's not great for hauling around. It's not heavy, just bulky and cumbersome to travel in my pocket attached to my phone. I can see it being useful when traveling, or if you do a lot of video recording and need stabilization, but that's not me. It has decent angles and holds the phone well but can get off balance if you tilt it too far. Not practical for daily use just to stream, but useful for vloggers or something along that line. This magnetic phone tripod/stand doubles as a short selfie stick. I absolutely love it! The design is super smart in the way it folds completely flat for storage. It is a little heavy, so it's not really something I stick in my pocket...it goes in my shoulder bag. The magnets on this phone holder are SUPER strong and very impressive. I can shake it after attaching to my phone and it won't drop off! I like the size of this phone holder too - it fits in my hand pretty well when I use it as a selfie stick, and the tripod legs are wide enough to be extremely stable. As a selfie stick, it's just tall enough to allow me to hold it up above heads around me without being obnoxiously long.
