Two things- 1.) this is a beautiful chair. It’s black velvet and padded well and looks fantastic. It’s comfortable (I’m plus size, an American 16 and it fits my booty comfortably- but I don’t have room to cross my legs.) 2.) quality unprecedented. It’s stable. My only complaints are truly that it needed carpet casters (which I replaced it’s casters with ball rollers) and I feel it was a bit high priced at $150 I paid… however I’m 40 and everything is expensive to me sooo? This chair is EVERYTHING I expected, in the most wonderful way! It arrived quickly and was super easy to put together. All of the tools and screws that are needed to assemble, came with it. The black velvet material is so soft and comfortable to sit on. I love the fact that it’s black and not pink, beige, or white. The wheels glide so easily when I roll it across the floor. It swivels and leans back easily and doesn’t squeak or wobble. Very sturdy. My legs fit cross-cross style easily and don’t hang off the edge like they would in a normal office chair. First of all, it was almost a week earlier than expected which was a super nice surprise. It's pretty easy to put together however, I HIGHLY recommend having a second person when it comes to attaching the cushions to each other. I was sure I could do it by myself, but I was wrong...so wrong. Just trust me on this. Every time I would have the two parts perfectly aligned, they would slip when I would try and place the screw. After trying for about fifteen frustrating minutes, I finally had someone help hold the parts in place while I finished that part of the assembly. If you don't count the time I wasted, it takes less than five minutes to put together. Once put together, it's lovely. So soft and comfortable. The wide seat is everything you think it will be... I don't know why this isn't the standard desk chair, it's amazing. I will mention if you are a person who needs the armrests, keep looking. Read more

I love the thickness and lux fabric of this chair but I will say the highest setting is not very high, it started loudly squeaking/creaking only a month or two into daily use and the locking mechanism for the recline feature is not very stable. Every few weeks I will be leaning back in the locked position and suddenly it will unlock and lean back much further, causing me to be very startled. All in all I do really like the chair, it was easy enough to put together and is comfy to sit in for long periods and large enough to switch up positions.
