Good thing they had the installation video because the written instructions aren't quite up to snuff, especially since the pictures don't look like the case I purchased. Installation was tricky, but I had done it before. It's important to realize that there are 3 pieces to this case. Warming the case (slightly) makes removal of the outside soft case easier. This was this worst p o s I have ever purchased. My guess would that this item was made when the iphone 5 came out and may have sat in some hot storage spot till now. That might help explain why the supposedly soft/flexible(?) outer case was stuck tightly to the hard case and couldn't be separated to try to insert the phone per the directions (which were therefor useless. That's completely ignoring the bulkiness of the unit and that the coating/cover over the location of the phone controls were immovable. It ain't an Otterbox, but it's not $50 either. I've used O.B. since iPhone 5's came out & as far as protect your phone, this will do the same job. Only real difference I see is these don't have the screen protector built in & doesn't have the O.B. logo on the back. I'm STILL basically using a 5, iPhone SE 1st edition, which works fine for me, all I really wanted was rubber drop protector, cuz my old 1 wasn't tight anymore. Read more
