Bought this for my 88 year old mom and it has helped her stay in track with the day, date and time of day. I bought because she informed me she woke up thinking it was the next day and took her meds for the next day only to realize it was the same day. The audible Med reminders are awesome but I cannot Get the PM alarm to talk. Need to contact the company to see what is going on. Mom keeps by her meds. No more mix ups. My husband has Parkinson’s and was having trouble reading our clock - so I bought one of these for him and he loved it! I ended up buying two more so we could have one in the important rooms of the house. I’ve recommended them to many people. I bought this for mother who is suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s. It is great that it has the day of the week as well as the time and M/D/YR. There is an alarm function but she didn’t need that. I got her this so she did not call me every day asking for the day. Read more

I needed something with a backlight to see in my dark bedroom. This has been the ticket. I’ve come to rely on it to say what day of the week it is when my memory is sluggish. It’s a nice legible size to read without my glasses and it’s just bright enough to double as a night light. Very happy with this purchase. Update. It’s November and the clock has totally gone berserk. I changed the hour for daylight savings at which point the other settings, as in the day, changed and I couldn’t get it to go back/correct itself.
