Juicer Attachment for KitchenAid Stand Mixer with 2 Size Reamer Juicer for KitchenAid Stand Mixer Citrus Juice Attachment

I wanted to make some fresh lemonade this summer. But realized that my glass hand-juicer had gotten broken a few years ago. So, I thought; "hey, I have this great Kitchenaide stand mixer, why not get a juicer attachment?" So, naturally, I headed to Amazon and found one! I am completely thrilled with this juicer attachment! It pops right into the front power take-off on my mixer and does an amazing job of juicing lemons. The strainer basket works very well and catches the seeds and pulp just fine - I had to empty it once while juicing 12 lemons. The juicer has 2 reamer heads (one slightly larger for oranges and such, while the smaller works great with lemons. I don't have a dishwasher, so ease of cleaning was important to me and it is VERY easy to wash by hand. All in all, I highly recommend this if you have a KitchenAide mixer with the accessory socket on the front. Read more

The product is easy to use, comes with two different size reamers Easy to assemble. I purchased this because the Cuisinart 50 does not come with all attachments that I have had with my Oster Kitchen Center for years that I am used to and loved. Although, it's advertised for Kitchen Aid I did ask before purchase and advised this would fit on my Cuisinart. Just received it today and I was a little worried because the peg or bolt that goes into the Cuisinart hub is more of pointed piece where as the Cuisinart Hub fittings are flat on the actual Cuisinart attachments. I was afraid I would have to go through the hassle of returning it, but woo HOO it fits even though it's more pointed passed the square fitting it still had room to fit. As far as durability, I am not sure as it seems like a very thin plastic. Time will tell. Also, the catch basket could be sturdier and a little larger to catch more pulp and seeds. It won't be that much more work to keep dumping out the basket when it fills up, though. I can deal with it. Perhaps, quality control can try to make a bigger basket for the juicer. After finding electric citrus juicers not heavy duty enough for juicing a large quantity of oranges from our tree, I decided to purchase this juicer attachment for my KitchenAid stand mixer and I am not disappointed. It removes every bit of fruit! I didn't use the pulp screen because it doesn't hold a lot, but used a strainer I placed on top of the mixing bowl to catch the juice.
